The Programmatic and Clinical Management of DR-TB Online course provides clinical officers, nurses, paramedical staff and other health workers with the knowledge and skills to effectively solve the most frequent challenges in the management of drug-resistant tuberculosis.
You will receive a certificate at the end of the training if you validate the end of the training assessment. The course will take approximately 8h to be completed. You can start and pause and come back to it later.

At the end of the training, you will:
- Understand the basics of TB care and prevention.
- Understand how drug-resistance develops, transmits and how it can be prevented.
- Know how TB and DR-TB are diagnosed.
- Know the basic elements of treatment of TB and DR-TB.
- Know how to monitor and manage adverse events and when to refer to a physician.
- Consider TB management in special cases: children, pregnant women, diabetes melitus and HIV co-morbidity.
- Be able to apply the basics of recording and reporting and TB data use for decision making in TB care and prevention.
Clinical officers, nurses, M&E and health information officers, TB program staff not directly involved in DR-TB clinical management
